Les Caves du Roy.
Opened in 1967 inside Hôtel Byblos, Les Caves du Roy is the temple of Tropezian nights · illuminated palms, a mirror ball and magnums paraded across the floor. Half a century on, the room keeps the same happy, carefree mood, with a resident DJ and a crowd from all over the world dancing until five in the morning.
The night
You come to Les Caves du Roy for the energy more than the show. The resident DJ runs through anthems and house, the mirror ball turns above the floor, magnums are paraded across the room beneath the illuminated palms, and a crowd of regulars and familiar faces from around the world dances shoulder to shoulder until dawn.
The style
The house keeps an elegant dress code · you dress the part, as the Tropezian spirit asks. The mood is still the one it opened with, happy and carefree, in an intimate room with an oriental scent that has lost none of its myth in more than fifty years.
