Monaco concierge.
We follow our families east when the day calls for it.
Monaco isn't our home port. The Saint-Tropez peninsula is. But Monaco is one hundred and eighty kilometres east on the motorway, twenty minutes by helicopter from La Mole, and the families we work with ask for the day, a lunch on the Rock, an afternoon at the Carré d'Or, a table at Café de Paris in the evening. We do that day. We don't do the full week.
What Monaco means in our work
For us, Monaco is a day trip. The client is at a villa on the peninsula for a week or two; on a Tuesday they want to see the Hôtel de Paris, lunch at La Marée, walk through Cartier and Hermès at the Carré d'Or, and be back for dinner in Saint-Tropez. We organise both ends: the car to La Mole, the helicopter, the driver waiting at Monaco heliport, the appointments, the evening table.
What we don't do: we don't present ourselves as your Monaco concierge. If you live in Monaco year-round or stay there for a month, operators based on the ground, twenty years in, on first-name terms with every hotel concierge, will do that work better than we will. We'll say so plainly.
The route from the peninsula
Helicopter from La Mole (LFTZ) to Monaco heliport (LNMC, in Fontvieille) is twenty minutes direct. That's the route we use. Book at least forty-eight hours ahead off-season; ten days to two weeks in July-August and over event weekends (Grand Prix, Yacht Show in late September, Top Marques in June).
By road it's two and a half to three hours mid-week in the right direction, four to five hours on a July Friday. The A8 is saturated from four in the afternoon on summer Fridays. Driving only makes sense for clients who want to take the time, lunch at Beaulieu-sur-Mer, a stop at Èze.
Same-day return is possible and is the standard. Leave La Mole around nine, day in Monaco, back for dinner on the peninsula. If the weather turns east-side, we keep a car option in reserve.
The venues in Monaco
We don't have the same working relationship in Monaco as we do in Saint-Tropez. What we do is use the right channels: the SBM (Société des Bains de Mer) concierge network for the Hôtel de Paris, the Hôtel Hermitage, the Monte-Carlo Bay; the standard reservation lines for independents. That works most of the time, but we don't promise the way we promise at home.
Tables we've reserved most often: Le Louis XV - Alain Ducasse at the Hôtel de Paris (three stars, six to eight weeks lead time in season), La Marée for seafood on rue du Portier, Café de Paris Monte-Carlo on the casino square for terrace lunches, Beefbar Monte-Carlo on route de la Piscine for later dinners, Cipriani Monte-Carlo, COYA Monte-Carlo at the top of avenue de la Costa.
For apéritifs and views: the terrace at the Yacht Club de Monaco (member access or via a member), the Buddha-Bar Monte-Carlo, the Hôtel de Paris bar post-renovation. For a quiet business or family lunch, La Marée and Le Louis XV. For dinner with entertainment, Café de Paris or Buddha-Bar.
Grand Prix weekend
The 2026 Monaco Grand Prix is run on Sunday 7 June. Practice on Friday 5, qualifying on Saturday 6. The circuit closes Monte-Carlo and the port to traffic from Wednesday evening onward. For those four days, the principality is not the same city.
Concretely, for clients sleeping on the Saint-Tropez peninsula who want to do Sunday: helicopter from La Mole early (eight to nine in the morning), Monaco heliport is open but saturated, leave an hour buffer for the return. Sunday evening after the race is the tightest moment of the year: without a confirmed return slot, you don't leave. We lock both legs in the same booking.
Sunday-night tables in Monaco book in April for 7 June. We tell you in April, not in May. If you ask the week before, we try, but we don't promise, and for venues that stay open post-race (Café de Paris, Beefbar, La Marée), expect a substantial wait even with a reservation.
For grandstand or official hospitality seats, the Automobile Club de Monaco distributes them. We don't resell seats. If you want seats, we point you at the official site (monaco-grandprix.com); if you want the day, transport, lunch, return, that's what we organise.
What we don't do
We don't sell a Grand Prix package. We don't rent balconies with circuit views. We don't run VIP nights. We don't book the after-party at Jimmy'z. Those markets exist in Monaco, they have their operators; we aren't one of them.
We also don't charter a yacht for berth in Port Hercule during the Grand Prix. Race-week berthing is its own market, multi-year contracts, slots awarded to repeat owners, prices that bear no relation to regular berthing. If you want that berth and you don't have it, we won't perform a miracle.
Monaco.
- Are you a Monaco concierge?
- No. We are a Saint-Tropez peninsula concierge. Monaco is part of our work only as a day trip for clients we are already hosting on the peninsula. If you need someone Monaco-based full time, we will say so and point you in the right direction.
- How long is the trip from Saint-Tropez to Monaco?
- Twenty minutes direct by helicopter from La Mole (LFTZ) to Monaco heliport (LNMC). By road, two and a half to three hours off-peak; four to five on a July Friday. We use the helicopter by default and keep the car as the weather fallback.
- Can you organise my 2026 Grand Prix day?
- If you're already with us on the peninsula, yes. Sunday 7 June 2026: car to La Mole, helicopter both ways to Monaco, driver on the Monaco side, end-of-day table. The two helicopter slots must be locked in the same booking, without that, the return is uncertain. We don't sell grandstand seats; for seats, the Automobile Club de Monaco official site is the route.
- Do you ever place a client in a Monaco hotel?
- Rarely, and only when the client has already slept a few nights on the peninsula with us. For Monaco nights we go through the SBM hotel's own concierge (Hôtel de Paris, Hermitage, Monte-Carlo Bay); the strong relationship there is theirs, not ours. We're honest about that.
- Can you get a berth in Port Hercule during the Grand Prix?
- No. Race-week berths in Port Hercule are allocated on multi-year contracts by the port authority to repeat owners. It's a separate market, and we have no entry to it. If you want a berth for that week and you don't have one, we won't pretend.
