The concept
Born here in 1996, Buddha-Bar invented a genre: dinner that slides into the night without changing address. Fusion plates built for the middle of the table meet the mezzanine's cocktails, while DJ Ravin's lounge and ethno house sound rises slowly with the evening.
The room
The great hall is presided over by a monumental Buddha, ringed with intimate alcoves and watched from above by the mezzanine bar. Smart dress is the house style; the room is looked after as carefully as the plates.
